About Huntington Learning Center
Huntington Learning Center is a premier tutoring company with over 300 centers across the nation. We pioneered supplemental education services over 40 years ago and work with pre-K to adult students to help with their academic skills, subject tutoring and test prep.Here in Lake Ridge, we offer academic programs in phonics, reading comprehension, math, study skills and writing. We also offer subject tutoring in all subject areas. Additionally, we offer test prep services for many tests, including HSPT, SAT, ACT, ASVAB and GED.

Huntington Learning Center's mission is to give every student the best education possible.
With our over 40 years of experience, we also know that every student is different and has different needs. That's why we always employ a diagnostic-prescriptive approach in our center. Students begin with a baseline evaluation which allows us to design a program specific to their needs to play to their strengths while improving upon their weaker areas.
We also conduct regular interim conferences with our families to ensure that what is happening in our center is meeting their expectations and helping the students achieve their goals. In addition, with parental permission, our staff will meet with students' teachers and guidance counselors to ensure a smooth transition of skills between center, school and home.
